Description

Nikita Titov. (March 16, 2022)

On March 16, 2022, Russian aircraft bombed the Drama Theatre in Mariupol. Hundreds of peaceful civilians, including many children, hid in it from raids. Also, many residents of Mariupol simply lived in the premises of the theatre, because they lost their homes due to the war. Near the theatre, people wrote on the asphalt with giant letters the word «CHILDREN», hoping for the humanity of the Russian military. To the great horror of all the world Russian plane purposefully dropped a bomb on the building, completely destroying it. As a result of the attack, approximately 300 people died, and about 130 people were saved.

Currently, the city of Mariupol is almost completely destroyed and is still under the occupation of the Russian Federation.
